Pastor David Tarkington is leading this seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Christian Truth.

Sunday Seminar
Pastor Shelvin Lamb teaches us during this seminar on the role of singing in the Christian life with biblical guidelines regarding why and if a Christian has to sing to be an obedient Christian.

Sunday Seminar
Our Sunday Seminar this month is centered on the topic of forgiveness. It's a word used often, but do we truly look at forgiveness from a biblical perspective or more from a culture "It's okay, don't worry about it," concept? Pastor Mike Godfrey will be leading this seminar. We will meet in our worship center.

Sunday Seminar
We welcome Dr. Christopher Yuan back to First Baptist Church. He and his parents were here in 2013 and shared their incredible story. Dr. Yuan is a highly sought-after expert whose book, Holy Sexuality and the Gospel, was named 2020 Book of the Year for Social Issues by Outreach Magazine. Dr. Yuan casts a compelling vision of not identifying with our sexuality, but embracing Christ and living out Holy Sexuality, which shatters the secular paradigms of gay and straight.
Dr. Yuan will be joined on February 23 by his mother Angela, as they minister together testifying to the transformative power of the gospel. Dr. Yuan's father, Leon, went to be with the Lord in 2022, but we will see a recorded message from him as well. Dr. Yuan graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2005 and received a master's degree in biblical exegesis in 2007 and a doctorate of ministry in 2014. He taught the Bible at Moody Bible institute for twelve years and his speaking ministry on faith and sexuality has reached five continents.
Angela Yuan has experienced much heartache from a broken but redeemed marriage and prodigal sons. But, God has given her the grace to rely upon his power to change the unchangeable and focus upon her own daily renewal and transformation.
Christopher has also produced The Holy Sexuality Project video series for parents and their teenagers. It is a first of its kind resource to help parents and grandparents to empower their teenagers to understand, embrace, and celebrate biblical sexuality.
5pm - SEXUAL IDENTITY: FALSE IDENTITY - Our Sunday Seminar will feature Dr. Yuan teaching on the subject of Holy Sexuality and the Gospel.
We will have books available for purchase that morning in our front foyer. These special seminars and services are open to all, so invite all who may benefit from the topic.

Sunday Seminar
Our Sunday Seminar begins at 5pm in the FBCOP Worship Center. This monthly deep-dive into current topics from a biblical perspective is led by Pastor Mike Godfrey. The focus for this seminar is "Christians, Politics, & Loving One Another."

Sunday Seminar
The topic of the evening is "Water, Wine, and Wafers" as we look at the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper and what they mean for the Christian, for the church, and why these ordinances are not individual expressions, but corporate.
